Happy Holidays

Wearing; Asos shift dress & Tony Bianco Nasya flatforms

I hope everyone's holidays were full of beauty, relaxation and amazingness. And lots of food and presents of course. John got me these flatforms for Christmas. I was a little hesitant when I first tried them on because I couldn't get the image of the Spice Girls out of my head. But they have grown on me and I absolutely adore them. So comfy too. Another scalloped beauty to my wardrobe as well. This pinky shift dress is so silky smooth and I love the V back detail.

Happy New Year everyone, stay safe and thanks for helping me ease into the blogging world :) xx

Liya

Wearing; Maurie & Eve Liya shorts, Vera Moda blouse & Jeffrey Campbell Litas

I disappeared again. Uni and work were tearing me in half. But things have died down now. Hopefully. But let's talk about something much more spectacular. These Maurie & Eve Liya lace shorts. I love the glamorously high-waisted lacey goodness of them. Nothing like I've ever owned before.

When I first saw these shorts, it was instant love. They had to me mine. But with their price and my negative lack of funds, it was just not possible. Until I found out about the Maurie & Eve warehouse sale... my dream lived on. So on that very morning, I woke up at 6.30 (it was a Saturday people!) so that my friend and I would be ready to road trip it up to the north shore by 7.30am. We were late of course.

As soon as I got there, I scoured the entire place for the shorts and came up with nothing! I was devastated. I was thinking about how the whole morning had been an entire waste when there, in the middle of one of the racks; was Liya, in my size! I basically then grabbed them and ran. xx

December Wishlist

Can't believe it's already so close to Christmas, this whole year has flown by for me! Here are some things that hopefully Santa will deliver to me :)

1. River Island top - expressing my love for all things metallic and scalloped this season, I can't believe I came across this beauty in the most perfect subtle gold colour.

2. Zimmerman bikini - this floral pattern is so demure and feminine that I will break my rule of not buying a strapless bikini for it.

3. Proenza Schouler PS11 - this is my ultimate dream-come-true present. I think for my 21st I might create a PS11 fund instead of presents...

4. Tony Bianco Nasya wedges - I know I'm getting these shoes and I'm so excited for them! I'm trying to convince myself to get them in the stone colour but I'll probably revert to safe black.

5. Princess Polly skirt - this teal colour is really hitting me hard this season, already thinking of numerous ways to wear this skirt.

6. Secret Squirrel top - a brand I've only discovered recently but already falling in love with them. This digital print is one of the best I've seen. xx

Silky White + Metallic Red

Wearing; Cue blazer, Sportsgirl singlet, Supre shorts, Oasis boots, Asos clutch & House of Harlow ring.

As you can see I finally got the clutch I wanted from this wishlist. John got it for me as a 'yay I've finally got a job' present. It's amazing. I love the colour and even though when I took it out one night some girls rudely pointed out to me that "it's just too big"; I love the size too.

I was tossing up whether or not to buy these shorts for a while. For one thing they are kinda see through and another thing, they kind of look like pyjama pants. Anyway I took the risk and spent the 20 dollars (oooh big spender) and haven't looked back. They are so comfy and add just that little something to every outfit. A good investment :) xx

Silver Burgandy x The Inbetweeners

Wearing; Cue blazer, ASOS top, Cotton On jeans, Portmans belt & Oasis boots

Date night was Friday. I had planned on wearing a dress but the weather was just not going to let that happen so I chose these burgundy pants all alternatively rolled up and this new metallic top I received. Spiced it up with a leopard print belt, overall I think the effect was very (for lack of a better phrase) "casual chic".
Does anybody like the Inbetweeners? If you've never heard of the show, get on that band wagon right now. John and I are major fans and we saw the movie this weekend. So awesome and absolutely hysterically. Probably not to everyone's taste and probably more of a guy's show but I'm weird like that. xx

Versace for H&M

(Images sourced)

A little late to post I know but I thought it was only right to show my adoration for the Versace for H&M collection. It's all been said before but this line is absolutely stunning, hitting all major trends with fabulous colours and florals and metallic details to the designs. My favourite pieces are the yellow and pink dresses (shown above), the floral bustier and floral leggings as well as the gorgeous palm tree pattern leggings, very summery. Also had to show you this beautiful red dress with the flowing cape. Amazing I just have absolutely no where to wear it to. Nevertheless I just wish there was a H&M store in Sydney :( what do you guys think of the collection? xx

Shades of Pastel Pink

Wearing; Topshop top, Sportsgirl blouse (worn as cardigan) & loafers, Glassons shorts (old) & bag, J-Line Designs necklace & Rimmel metallic nail polish.

So I know I've kind of dropped off the face of the blogging planet as of late but that might have something to do with uni and studying and I got a new job and the fact that my main computer got a virus and now won't let me go on the internet... Nevertheless I'm back.

This is what I wore to breakfast yesterday morning. Caramel latte and a giant pancake with maple syrup and strawberries, so good. Very pink and light and I paired it with this new scalloped singlet to create a very feminine look. Of course I couldn't go outside looking too girly so on went the man loafers and bullet necklace.

Another exciting note, last night I met Emma from Spin Dizzy Fall. She was so sweet and lovely and didn't make me feel like a complete loser for coming up to her. I was completely giddy afterwards :) Have a great weekend everyone. xx

2. Sportsgirl skirt - teal is one of my favourite colours at the moment and this skirt seems perfect for going out and lounging around.
3. Seafolly bikini - too cute for words.
4. Sportsgirl bag - minty goodness.
5. Shakuhachi dress - what's not to love. Cute daisies, leather collar, the perfect dress for summer days and nights. xx

Lion's Eye

Last week I went to a friend's 21st dressed as Symba from the Lion King. For my make up I wanted a smokey eye for added mystery and general lion-looking ness. I used Smashbox eyelid primer and MAC eyeshadows in Satin Taupe and Black Tied as well as eyeliner and Maybelline Falsies mascara (can not live without the stuff). It worked out well, I liked it anyway and I think it gave me that 'you don't know what I'm about to do' lion edge. xx

Patterned Palazzo

Wearing; Sportsgirl pants, top and sunglasses & Novo heels

With the hectic wind of today, I thought it would be a good time to show you guys these palazzo pants I bought a while ago. Of course the wind never blows when you want it to. I saw these pants awhile ago and the pattern is what immediately attracted me to them. Sort of like a dark floral pattern. When they went on sale, my friend and I treked it all over the city to find them in my size. Truthfully I have never worn these out (John hates them) but I am still so much in love with the colours and pattern that I'm thinking of turning them into shorts. What do you think? xx

Beautifully Neutral

Dotti blazer, Agent Nintynine singlet, Supre shiny tights, RMK heels & J-Line Designs bullet necklace

This is an outfit I styled for my sister a little white ago. She wanted something that was casual but still a little fancy at the same time. I went for a neutral palette for subtlety. What do you think? xx

Gypsy

Wearing; Dotti blazer, top & headpiece, Bardot skirt & Oasis Fran boots

Wore this Friday night to a friend's white party in the city. About one hour before I was suppose to leave I realised I had nothing white to wear (even though I swear I always buy clothes in white??) so I styled a striped skirt with a white shirt and hoped they would be happy. Added the headpiece for a little oomph. I was told I looked like a native American Indian as well as an Egyptian but I think I looked like a wannabe gypsy. Hoped everyone's weekend was good. xx

Red & Stripes

Wearing; Vera Mode blouse from Asos, Bardot skirt & Oasis Fran boots

Really quick & busy week. Studying Monday and Tuesday, spent 10hours at uni on Wednesday and did a night flight yesterday, and rushing around today to make sure I was on time to get into the city tonight (it's not looking good...) And this heat! I don't do too well in the sun and I felt like I was going to melt today even though it's barely summer!

I wore this outfit at a friend's 21st the other week. I love this red blouse and I got it at such a good price from Asos. Paired it with another good bargain from Bardot. I love the general boldness of the red mixed with the black and white stripes. Topped off with mauve coloured nails. Hope everyone has a marvelous weekend. xx

Fran

This boots are one of the things that make me happy. I've been looking for ankle boots for a while and was so glad that I came across these perfect Oasis Fran ankle boots from Asos. When I told my mum I was going to buy them (I usually tell my mum about things that excite me) she said "Why? It's nearly the end of winter". I responded by stating they are summer boots but Mum came back saying "Summer boots?! There is no such thing. It's too hot in the summer here, your feet will swell up while wearing them!" Nevertheless I bought the boots and intend to prove her wrong. They are so comfy and I wear them casually and when I'm going out too. Now just to get through the summer... xx

Monochromic Coral

Wearing; Cue blazer, Dotti top, Supre tights, Oasis boots & vintage beads.

Excuse me for the photo overload. I didn't manage to get a proper full outfit shot this time so I'm hoping all these pictures will atleast give you some idea. This was for a friend's 21st birthday dinner at the Blackbird Cafe in Darling Harbour. I went for a monochromic look with a pop of colour. Found this coral lipstick hidden in my make up drawer, and I'm finding that it's good for both casual and dressy situations. Such a good night sipping on sangria and house cocktails. I had my year 12 formal after party at the same place, so all the memories came flooding back and we started to reminicise. I feel like these past three years at uni have gone so fast but at the same time high school feels decades ago.
Oh the artwork above is from Janalli train station. If you're ever there take a look at it. I found myself quite mesmerised soaking up all the detail that was put into it. xx
